Having graduated from Glasgow University and trained with one of the large Glasgow firms, Laura joined Lawson Coull & Duncan in 1993, becoming a partner in 2003. She added to her qualifications with the Financial Planning Certificate in 1999. Laura heads the firm’s Private Client team and is responsible for all aspects of Wills, Executry Administration, Estate Planning, Trusts (including Charitable Trusts) and Powers of Attorney, as well as assisting clients generally with their finances and investments. She has been appointed by the court as Financial Guardian to several clients. She is also our Client Relations Partner.
Outside work, Laura is kept busy with her family, and enjoys various creative hobbies. As a member of a community choir (for which, thankfully, there was no need to audition) she has participated in several concerts, and even an (unsuccessful) audition for the X-Factor!
